Our mission is to unite the Henry family tree and all its branches. Keeping the legacy alive and honoring our ancestors is our priority. We’re doing this for those that came before and those that will carry on when we’ve passed on. With A humble hand this event will continue to grow and evolve while staying true to its original intent. Through Wisdom, Love and Honor we will continue to serve the family and its members.

The Henry Legacy continues…This year we are reimagining our 2024 Henry Family Reunion into the Henry Family Day Weekend. Due to our August 3rd Henry Family Day proclamation, we are able partner with more small businesses and large corporations in our community to provide sponsor and support for many of our family’s activities this year.

Welcome to our awesome Henry Family Day Weekend Thursday’s Hotel Pizza Party (Meet and Greet)! After you check in at the hotel, come down to the main hall for a pizza party that’s going to be a blast! The fun kicks off at 4 PM and we’ve got tons of activities lined up for the evening:
Games galore
Bingo (with cool prizes for the winners!)
Karaoke
And so much more!

Get ready for an action-packed day! On Friday, August 1st, we’re having our Field Day and Cookout! The fun starts at 10 AM, so make sure to be there on time.
We’ve got a great day planned with activities like kickball (with awesome prizes for the winners!), games, music, and delicious food. And don’t forget to wear your reunion T-shirts and bring your sunscreen!

Get ready for some sun and sand! On Saturday morning, we’re having Beach Day at Radio Island. The fun starts at 9 AM, so don’t be late!
We’ve got a bunch of exciting beach activities planned:
Swimming or not swimming
Beach volleyball
Sandcastle building
Beach games
Bring your beach gear, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
We can’t wait to see everyone there and have a fantastic day by the water.

Henry Family Day Weekend is Thursday July 31st through Saturday August 2nd, in celebration of our August 3rd Henry Family Day proclamation.
The August 3rd Henry Family Day proclamation recognizes our family’s contributions to our community’s heritage and development, along with our annual Henry Family Legacy Scholarship and our newly Henry Family Fund at East Carteret High School.
We want all family and friends to attend the 3-day event beginning Thursday afternoon and ending Saturday evening.

Henry Family Day Weekend room group rates are 1 King Bed is $149 per night and 2 Queen Beds is $149 per night. Regular rates are $243 per night.

Henry Family Legacy Scholarship
Established in 2024, our family has partnered with Carteret Community College to reward young students who has attended East Carteret or West Carteret high school pursuing their higher education at the college.
To continue to support and give back to the community, donate to the Henry Family Legacy Scholarship today.
Henry Family Fund ECHS
Henry Family Fund ECHS
Established in 2025, our family has partnered with East Carteret High School to assist with in-need high school students. This fund goes directly to young high schoolers to provide computers, supplies, and even clothes.
You can donate to the Henry Family Fund by sending a check or money order made out to East Carteret High School.

Henry Family Reunion 2024
Henry Family Reunion 2024
Last year's reunion was a fun, packed three day event that created lots of memories.
Day One was our Welcome Reception at Hotel Alice at Atlantic Beach. We kicked it off with goodie bags filled gifts and reunion information. Day One ended with the now famous raffle and raffle winners that were awarded each day.
Day Two was our Family Field Day at Freedom Park. The weather was perfect for enjoying burgers, hotdogs, and Chick-fil-A sandwiches. Not to mention the fun on the field with a friendly game of kickball led by Team Shannon and Team Patrick.
Day Three was our Family Dinner Reception at the Carteret Community Culinary Building. This was a fantastic night filled with food, pictures, a photobooth, award presentations, and a couple of guest speakers with a few surprises. One surprise was our first annual Henry Family Legacy Scholarship recipient. The other surprise was the Henry Family Day proclamation August 3rd.
