Nyalea was awarded the scholarship for the 2024–2025 academic year. She is an active student at Carteret Community College, where she is currently enrolled in the Radiography program. We wish her continued success in her studies and future healthcare career.

In 2021, the family’s commitment to education took on a new and lasting form by establishing the Henry Family Scholarship at Carteret Community College in Morehead City.
In 2021, the family’s commitment to education took on a new and lasting form by establishing the Henry Family Scholarship at Carteret Community College in Morehead City.
While the scholarship began modestly with a single $500 award, it quickly grew. Today, the family proudly awards two $500 scholarships annually ensuring that both sides of the county are supported:

- One award to a graduate of East Carteret High School.
- One award to a graduate of West Carteret High School.
